The 3 door EN Civic had a diff ratio of 4.25.
The EN wagon had a diff ratio of 4.65
They were both 5 speed.
The 4 speed EB gearbox has a 4.93 diff ratio.
The rare EB "RS" 5 speed had a 4.71 diff ratio.

The Early Accord EG motor was 74x93 (1597cc). This was replaced by the EL motor which was 77x86 (1602cc). The EK motor is 77x94 (1751cc). It's difficuilt to find an EK motor in Australia. I suggest you over bore an EL block from 77 to 79mm, and use the 93mm crank from an EG motor, giving 1824cc. The...

I had similar problems with a battery.
If the car was left unused for a couple of days, the battery would die.
It was shortening out through a dud alternator.
