If its not a turbo city i wouldnt go too much bigger than the factory pipe.

NA cars like some back pressure in the exhaust to work properly, whereas turbos cars are the opposite..

bet ya its the water pump

disconect the air con cause it can be the bearing in there BUT citys are bad at eating water pumps...

Had 3 citys and had to do the water pump in two of them!!! (within 6 months!)

Some mates of mine have done it before.
gota watch turbo cars and rotors for chewing out the fiberglass though.
theres a steel woll u can put in which last a lot longer

hey dude. will take some picys tommorow. Top answer your Q's No you dont really need to prop the motor. yes u take out the mount - unhook from engine and firewall. with the mount, you just push the rubber "ring" out of the end on the motor. fill the gaps then push back in. Once you have it...

it is the cat converter wire.

Pull it out, its not needed.

At worst the funny little exhaust light will come up on the dash to warn u the cat isnt working properly...

Hey dude. I found a neat way to "renew" your old engine mounts. What it involves is taking the mount out, clean it, and then squirt new rubber into the mount, leave it to dry for 48hours and volla! (better than factory) With this you can stiffen up your old mounts and make the car feel mor...
