I so wish i had the money Crooky.

You do know you can buy an ER Turbo Block (head and all) for $600 ish from Jap Imports at Cardiff.

Then you could swap it over and whalla, problems fixed.

If i had $1200 (or had access to) i'd buy it and do the same.

Unless you accept payment plans...

Cheers,
Luke.

I have a reciept at home, i'll post it tomorrow :-)

I bought my last Cabriolet ER (non-turbo) through them. There are an Jap Engine Import, they do that whole "exchange" engine thing...

Car still for sale.  Waiting on my mate to take some photos.  Unless I get a decent offer though I'm going to keep it and fix it myself when I get back up to Newcastle in late June.  Keep your eye out here for some photos shortly.

Don't sell it crooky! Ring New Jap and just plonk a 40,000km jap import engine in her ;D

Then we'll go for a cruize ;)

Sell it after the engine change, then you'll get more than your $600 extra back.

Update on car.  Now fixed!! Replaced the head gasket....again, and drove from Newcastle back to canberra. It drove so well down the freeway I have decided to keep it. It runs like a gem now. Sorry to any potential buyers for now, however the car might be for sale early next year in Canberra as I am getting married at Easter and may need some cash......Till then.
