hello
hey i have just finished fitting a EL accord motor to my dads city, well it goes a lot harder than the ER, being a 1600. to complete the job we put a full set on turbo1 swaybars and springs on it, and soon to have the turbo1 brakes as well. put a crx shifter in it (like 2inches shorter than the city ;D) and a full turbo2 interior. the major mods were to the crossmember with some grinding needed to fit the frount pipe off the accord to attach the rear exhaust pipe of a turbo2.
so all up quight a mix of parts, but it works well and you can give some holdens a skare ;D
p.s. soon going to change gear box to see if the accord box will fit as you can just about hit 100 in second gear with the city gearbox, while doing this i am putting an excedy clutch in as the one it is loosing it grip on things ;D
thanks kenny

Re: EL ACCORD
That sounds interesting.
Is it a standard EL (ie carb) motor ?
The accord should have a diff ratio of 4.65.
The city Turbo had a 4.05 diff.
So if you put an accord box on, it will get to 100 even quicker !
