Shock Absorbers

Hi...  my T1's front and rear shock absorbers will be needing a replacement soon... my mech told me that it's the same as the 80's accord.. any truth in that...  any recommendation from you guys would be helpful... any brand?   thanks..

I would say that hes full of shit, and your pretty much shit out of luck when it comes to city shocks, either find some better nick 2nd hand ones, if your really lucky find some old new stock somewhere or head down the road of getting them cut the buggery open and custom inserts made, which is not as dear as you would expect, *ONLY* about 300 a shock for KONI custom adjustables from memory.... Some refute/back me up??
