Postby Muppet » Mon Sep 12, 2005 4:23 pm

Just a wee feeler here:  What would be the top 5 pocket rockets of all time and where would the City fit in, and I'm talking factory cars or close to it, not highbreds.
Heres a few of mine

Mini Copper S (early ones)

Honda City T2

Datsun 1200 Sedan or Coupe

Suzuki Swift GTI

Fiat Abarth

Toyota Starlet's

I'm sure theres plenty more Lets hear your opinions.

I dont think the City would be in the top 5 by a long way!  :-[

Mini Cooper S - Definately number one
Renault Cilo Sport

yeh, i dun think a civic is a pocket rocket
starlet turbo isnt really that pocket rocket either, its close,

By pocket we're talking closer to Kei class type sizes

Don't forget Suzuki Cappuccino
They are small, light weight, turbo charged, similar engine ouput with City Turbos although they are 660cc.
They are extremely well balanced tiny FR sport car.

ya March is a quick car too, I love the Impul Version.
Does anyone know why Originally Nissan said want to bring March into Australia, but later on they changed their mind?

Although the mini cooper "s" have a great following, they are a piece of junk to drive (in comparison to a City Turbo!)

I'd have to say the City Turbo would be definately top 5. Especially the T2! They are so solid and bang for buck, they are still comparable to late 90's vehicles ;)
