Self explanatory really, painted it yesterday, starting to reassemble today, looks pretty sexy IMHO will look even better when its complete again, particularily notice the aerial and gutter free roof and the rubbing strip free side.
For comparison

Re: Painted
Cheers guys, I am quite stoked with it myself, it has come up really nice, now I just have to not scratch it!
I have repainted the interior aswell so as soon as I replace the carpet and redo the seats the brown will be banished forever

Re: Painted
thats awesome!
It be a shame to have to put the plastic strips and to many badges back on, what are your plans for that?
Also it looks tough with the front bumper off, kinda early VW Golf-ish.... plenty more room for a aluminium radiator and intercooler!

Re: Painted
Cheers for all your kind words guys it makes it all the more worth while.
As for the plastic trims and badges, none of it is going back on except the bumper inserts, I have filled the badge holes and removed the side plastic trims and the faded chrome trims around the doors and side windows. As for the bumpers I have shortened the brackets to tuck them right into the body, 50mm each end to be precise, it makes them look a whole lot better. I have painted the front behind the grill black as well as the intercooler and rad so its nice and stealth now :p.
All of the plastic trim inside including the dashboard had been plastic primered and painted satin black, the doors and rear 1/4 interior panels have been reupholstered in white vinyl, the seats will follow shortly with white and black vinyl upholstery, also replacing the carpet with some nice plush black stuff, the blue/black/white colour scheme looks really nice ont he inside, I cant wait to get it all done.
I am also converting the instruments to a tacho next to a speedo instead of a tacho next to a fuel and temp, I am also making them blue backlit, white faces with black writing indiglo styles, have all the stuff to do this just need the time.
As for posting a pic, I use the site http://www.photobucket.com to store my photos, its free and they let you upload up to 512kB in single photos, then in your photo album on that you just copy and paste the [img.]...[img.] link into the forum window
