Honda City/Jazz D15B7/z6 build---First 1/4 mile

Let me introduce my build. I bought this car in January from one guy who want put this car on scrapyard.
The price was 50 euro ~ 80$ but he doesn't want any many, when we talk by phone he told me to bring him 3 box of cigarettes and that will be fine :D.
So i took trailer and went to Germany (I live in Poland)
OLD Spec of Jazz
Engine: 1986r. ER4 1,2L auto trany

New Spec of Jazz

Engine D15B7/z6 mini-me
+ megan racing cam gear
+ egay pulley (i now that i need to change this)
+ milled head alot
+ racing valve seat job
+ ARP Headstuds
+ 0w40 oil
I took of this engine from my old EG- 144 whp

Tranny:
+ ACT StreetLite Flywheel 11,9 lbs,
+ Hybrid gear box (3th and 4 gear from CRX)
+ Final drive 4,9 from MFactory,
+ Omni-Power Quicklutch Master Cylinder
+ axles special made for this swap
i must add clutch pedal from civic because that was autotranny

Exhaust:
+ 4-1 header, special for this swap, made by my friend
+ 2,5" straight pipe
+ small muffler

Intake:
+ ITB made from CBR 929
+ golden eagle vacum box
homemade mani (not enough space for oem manifold)
+ P28 + Crome



Interior:
Stock
+ fuel tank
+ wallbro pump


Exterior:
+ BBS wheels 13" + 195/45/R13
* New made Radiator
+ i will made some new front end

Have you got any more pictures of the mounting of the engine? DId you have to cut/think down the chassis rails at all or does it squeeze in there?

AWESOME!

You might have a few orders for engine mounts from people with similar plans now. What about drive shafts etc?

Think this will give some hope to those with similar plans! well done!
The awesome exhaust manifold is a fresh change from a massive fmic!

First of all thanks for all kind words.

Now about the swap, D-series engines are ideal for this chassis. They fit without any cutting, you only need to make side mounting and at the back you are using city "mounting shaft" and modified D-series rear engine bracket.
Things you need too make:
- axles -combo form City and civic axels
- custom manifold (typical D-series mani doesn't fit, not enough space)
- minor changes on shaft for shifter
- custom made radiator (no space for typical city/civic radiator)
- custom made header
- all civic wire installation

Awesome fit
What about behind the front seats (direct rear wheel drive) As it is, you wouldn't want to run into anything pre 1990 tho.
Ok to run up the end of late model Commodore or Ford , just melt yor way in there , probly as good as an airbag .

that thing would be a little scarey but fun.
Have you thought of turboing it? May have to brace the front frame as it may rip it off :shock:
