fair price for t2 bonnet?

fair price for t2 bonnet?

how much wld be fair price for 2nd hand T2 bonnet? how much do they go for these days?

just got one offered for T2 bonnet for $250 + shipping from south island. = so around $350.

im not sure if that is a fair price, i mean,, i dont know about the differences between turbos and cabriolets but yea..

told the guy it was too much, but what do you guys think?

I think thats too much considering you could get an old beat up t2 shell for near that (if it came up)

But it just depends on how long you are willing to wait for it

well from my point of view it is a little hi in price but its the old story if you want it youll pay for it,i got a bonnet for a 81 accord a few weeks ago for a job at work and that was from strong honda auckland that was 125+gst and 30 freight,when it got here it had dents allover it (we knew about this but didnt realise how many tho)

i think fair price for a mint one no dents/rust $200-220 if ya can find one
a slightly dented/rusty (but repairble one) $80-130

yeah but consider this tho if you buy a cheap one by the time you cut out rust/fix dents in terms of hrs and $ value youd be better spending $250 for a clean one and just paint it and fit done.

yep i agree..you are quite right..
but im rebuilding my cabrio from the bottom up, so I might need to bog dents and fix the rusts thuout the car anyway..
i do all the work myself so yea~ the state that im in right now,, cheaper the better for me at this stage :lol: :lol: but i know what you mean tho =)

If you are still building it up then you have no reason not to wait for a cheap minter to come up that is located near you

yep yep. not that i rush thu the job but i just get so impatient ay =(
