t1 Suspension

Anyone have any wisdom when it comes to aftermarket suspension for T1 City's.
Wanting to lower it and increase handling if possible. Keen to keep it legal rather than lopping off a coil or two.
Is there any aftermarket springs listen for other cars which fit?
Is there any standard springs from any other models which fit in? AK civics/shuttles or anything?
Have found a set of "zoom" springs on yahoo.jp listed for a t1 but the shipping is a killer, unless i want to wait a few months for them to arrive.
