City pro brake booster in T2?

Hi I have a busted Brake booster in my T2
I have searched and found the t1 and t2 are interchangeable and there is new boosters available on ebay but may require a different master cylinder?

I have a city pro one laying around I will look at when the busted one is out just wanted to know if any body has used a non turbo booster on a t1 or t2?
