T2 Colour poll ! give me your ideas !

hi guys!
Just after a few votes or ideas for when i paint my t2 ( hope to have side skirts and bumper, will have rear boot spoiler and mid spoiler)

Chuck up some photos of colours!

White
black
silver
silvery white ( pictured on this model)
Or maybe a gun metal grey? in either gloss or matt

are some of my ideas so far

For t2 original colors (from catalog)

Quartz silver metallic
Greek white
Tonic blue metallic

White it's collor for real Japanes car
Silver it's good color when the car is clean...

Never been a fan of Black, White looks nice, my T2 is white However if custom I like your last pic. of the Merc in dark grey, I've always loved the stock City Lime Green colour also.

Almost every one ive seen is white. It dose look good. My last one being black was good but wouldnt mind going down a diffrent path. Yea that last 3m matte grey looks good.shows off all the angles that i find you lose in black.

I always thought if I ever got my white t2 resprayed it'd be in Artic White...think Mazda or Subaru use it...white metallic with 2 subtle plain white or very pale silver stripes down the middle. A fine metallic white would make it look abit special...not full on Glitter Mr Sparkle metallic or Pearl White tho.

haha there are so many shades of white!! maybe ill ship mine over when its all built and do a mega aussy road trip!

What about getting your car wrapped in matte white or satin white vinyl film?

well ive had a few people suggest wrapping. and i use to dabble in it a little bit myself.
For a brand new car its easy or for a gimmick its a fun idea but not a permanent colour change/solution.

Also i want to take it apart and clean out any rust as well as paint the engine bay and interior, which wrapping cant be used for (Tight little bend and heat/oil ect). Also i helped my mate wrap an old mini and you just cant wrap around the channels around the roof etc :/

So im gonna go the whole hog and strip her down and paint her from the ground up

I looked at wrapping also. $200 for a bonnet, and only guranteed for 2yrs under 'ideal if fitted to a new car with new paint' conditions.
