Are you in Oz or NZ?  Will they fit T1's also?

Re: rims

If your interested guys.  The measurements for city rims are: PCD:  4x100mm offset:  +45 centre hole:  55mm diameter (I measured mine to get this measurement) This is for a standard city and a T1.  I'm not sure if the T2 would have a different offset due to the flared guards but its possible. Could ...

Re: T2 Project Update - HELP!

Sounds like you need to buy a whole VRS Kit.  They are about $170NZ which converts to about $150AU.  The reason I say this is that you are much better getting one from NZ (cheaper).  AGR Holdings is where I got mine from and you will find their number/email address on this site....can't remember whe...

rims

G'day crew.  Was looking on ebay and thinking that I wouldn't mind purchasing a set of 14 inch rims (possibly even 13's if they were cool enough) for my T1 but beyond needing a 4x100mm stud pattern, I have no idea of the size I need.  Does anybody know what size centre hole and offset I need?  Even ...

Re: To all those in the know

No Luke.  Ball joint.  Hey Mick. Cheers for that info on Batalion motors. I rang the blokes and although they got rid of the cars, they put me onto a wrecker who sold me a couple of ball joints and the tail light in good condition. Putting the ball joints and control arms on was a piece of piss.  No...

Re: T2 Project Update - HELP!

Yes they have holes in them.  It might be trivial and you probably have done this but did you swap the plugs around? If you do this and it runs ok for a bit and then goes shit, it may be a worn stem seal or a crack in that CVCC valve housing.  Oil can filter down and foul the plug.  The fact that th...

Re: WTB. right tail light assembly for T1

Hey Blitz. I'm only keen on one of the tail lights (RHS) but I'd be keen to take the bonnet of your hands if its free of rust and dents. Is it that metallic black colour cause that is what mine is. I'll give you $20 plus postage for the tail light and $75 for the bonnet as long as its good and I can...

To all those in the know

I just got my car inspected today and all is good except for the front ball joints. After spending half the day on the phone here is what I'm faced with: 1. Honda genuine parts which include the control arm - $700 for the pair - (No F*%$#@N way!) 2. $88 from a wrecker with no guarantee that the ball...

Wanted TB: right and left ball joints

Hey guys.  Went to get my T1 inspected today and the ball joints are gone. After a lot of ringing around I'm faced with paying $700 for the pair new (NO f*@#n way!) or $88 from a wrecker 2nd hand with no guarantee they'll be any good. Does anybody have any they will sell me....Please!!! I'm desperat...

Re: T2 Project Update

Hey guys, thought I'd add some info to the hunting idle problem. My car hunts from time to time but mostly with nothing electrical running. The radiator fan is the only thing that makes the idle increase to a point that is enough to cause the hunt and only sometimes (most of the time when it hunts i...

Re: PGM-FI cuts out!!!

This used to happen to me from time to time, only on full boost and usually only in higher gears pulling up hills or under maximum load. The PGM-F1 lamp used to light up in the dash. I noticed that it stopped happening when I advanced the idle a bit, closer to what it should have been. Don't know wh...

Battery placement

Hey guys. My battery is behind the drivers seat (secured and with a little box over it) and I was wondering if anybody knows if it will pass a rego inspection like this in Canberra or if it must be in the engine bay?

MY T1 RRRRunning!

Hey crew. My T1 is now running really well. After a year of battling dodgy mechanics and a rapidly declining bank balance, it is done. I replaced the head gasket for the second time (no gasket goo this time) and she sealed pefectly and started up first crack once reassembled.  I drove her back to Ca...
