Hi Silver2 I got it going last owner who purchased it from you gave up after getting the head done and parking it up for a while. I fixed a few things that he got wrong and then sorted out the problems with the electrics mostly related to the typical honda main relay! I sold it a couple of weeks ago...

Not really keen on swaps, but would be odd as yours already sounds like it has all the bits this one needs. I have to wonder why you would want to swap :roll:

I checked the wires to the ECU and they are connected to the same earth as the relay. Im sure the connection has failed in the loom not far from the fuse box, perhaps as you mentioned a soldered joint of three wires that leads to the front earth point under the bonnet? I will take a good look tomorrow i know its sitting under a plastic box and seems firmly attached. Perhaps the wires are not bolted down correctly. Is the earth attached with the same bolts that hold the ecu or a seperate one near the seat rails?

Can i fit a T1 turbo to a T2 exhaust manifold?

Hey thanks for your help! I think you probably know of my car its been posted about on here a few times so ive just discovered. It has the front mount intercooler and a few goodies fittd such as uprated clutch and big bore exhaust. Im just learning about what was done to it by another City turbo fan...

Mine is black in colour. It has a black earth wire on the top left looking directly at the front of the plug. its in the loom right next to the fusebox. It has Yellow and black stripe wire, Green, Blue with white stripe and black with yellow stripes etc.

found the conection to the body you identified behind the coolant overflow tank, checked the terminals etc was all ok but still no earth to the relay. Will have to keep lookin :roll:

Thanks for the diagram! i guess the earth is off the loom under the dash or near the battery on the other side of the firewall somewhere :roll:

The relay is attached the the back of the fusebox it has a 2 row 4 socket plug :)

Update ... Tested harness side of main relay found the fault to be no earth/ground connection at the main relay socket. I jumpered the earth and she runs sweeeet :wink: Now the hard bit..... Does anyone know where the ground wire connects to the body? It goes into the main loom but the wiring diagra...
