So got a new thermo fan switch from repco and put it in. still doesn't seem to want to turn on the fan.
I connected the two wires together and it goes but when I attach them to the switch when its hot it doesn't switch on. Any ideas?

Wrong again, it is upside down but i was reading it right. Its 1+2+4 which you say is the throttle sensor. Just took it for a quick drive and realised my ecu is mounted upside down the code is actually 2 + 4 thats always on and then when it bogs down its 2 + 4 + 8

So how would you recommend going about finding an fixing these issues? The bogging only happens sometimes, is this wierd if its a wiring issue? Would it entail that its a short rather wired wrong? Yeah mine sounds pretty much like this, Its just under the bonnet where its a little noisy.
It seems to run normally with lights 1 and 2 on.
then when it does the choking it shows 1, 2 and 4

I have an issue when sometimes the engine will start perfectly and drive fine. Then the next time It starts but as I drive off it seems to choke and rev's very rough, and won't accelerate properly, Like its not getting something. Also the fan works but its doesn't seem to turn on like its not being ...

Yeah they a ridiculous and mine was soild mounted too which made things even worse, The walbro 500 is awesome got it for 245 and its pretty quiet and has a good mounting kit with it. So I have finally got my civic turbo up and running. Changed the fuel pump today to a 500hp walbro external which runs a lot quieter than the old VL one. Seems to work for me?? If you jump on facebook and look for 1975 honda civic you should find it pretty easily. its red whit white bonnet stripes. I will get better images and can email people if they are interested.
