Re: 105kmph Beeper
Shouldn't even need to pull out the cluster, just remove the top cover and its on the back of the cluster on the left hand side. I've done a few and normally just leave it in place and cut the black wire with a small pair of side cutters...

Re: New Brakes for T1
When I dropped the turbo in my cab I was planning on swapping in the T1 disks at the same time since I figured the turbo would have bigger disks than the n/a cab, but wrong! Turned out that the cab disks were bigger than the T1, don't know how they compare to the TII disks but might be worth a look...

Re: 15" x 6.5" WILL THEY FIT T1
I wouldn't think they'd fit on a T1, I was running 195/50 15's on a cab (same rear guards as a T2) and they only just fitted, without the wider guards I'm guessing even if they did fit they'd rub badly. I wouldn't have had more than 10mm between the rim and suspension arm on the inside so there's no...

Cabriolet Turbo Conversion and other suggestions..
Ok this should cover all the stuff you might not think of when trying to drop a T1 or T2 engine into a carbiolet. 1. Get an entire T1 or T2 as the donor car, it'll be easier and probably cheaper than trying to get all the bits as you go. 2. You will need to swap fuel tanks and fuel lines and fit t...

Re: Disk Brakes
Hi Luke I had a talk with Charles about this some time ago and got a rear axle off a I think it was a '92 Civic Si which has rear disks, they were very close but the stub axles were different it might have been possible if I'd found the appropriate bearings and the caliper carriers were very very cl...

Nice ;D, thats my old Cab Turbo, it goes hard but would shred those standard width tyres in no time, if anyone is seriously looking at it it needs 195's on there!

Re: N/A City twin carb setup ?
Hey K1W1 Shouldn't be that hard really, I've done the mini stuff and city n/a to turbo conversions as well, really you just need to make up a decent inlet manifold to bolt your carbs on, I'd go with something off a similiar sized engine as a starting point and then jet etc from there. If you really...

Re: Could a T1 Ever beat a Toyota Celica GT - four
Hi All Been a while since I had something to say but it's an interesting topic and I've just been working out some numbers... A 1990 ST185 GT4 Celica standard puts out 208bhp and weighs 1380kgs so each bhp has to shift 6.6kgs My DOHC VTEC B16A Del Sol standard puts out 170bhp and weighs 1045kgs so e...

Re: built in speed alert!!
Hi All I've killed a few of these, it is behind the instrument cluster, which doesn't have to be removed, just take the cluster front surround and top off. It is the whitish circular thing on the left hand side behind the cluster, from memory the wires running into into it are green and black, just...

Re: Honda spares unhelpfull
Hi Andy Take a look here http://www.stronghonda.co.nz . I sorted a new vacuum advance for someone in Oz and just posted it over there. The last one I brought was about $160NZD, they were much cheaper about 18months ago but for some reason Honda decided to more than double the price. Cheers Tony :D
