Re: Fuel Cut
I'd be very cautious about disconnecting or bleeding of air to MAP sensors. There are two MAP sensors on the city turbo, one for boost one for vacuum. Re: Overboosting
They crack right where the wastgate valve shaft comes out of the turbine housing. When subjected to heat, this crack expands, causing the shaft to sieze, holding the wastegate shut, or at least close to shut. This causes the overboosting problem on the city turbo.
Re: Fuel Cut
Yep, fuel cut is at about 16psi. You need a Fuel Cut Defender to delete the cut. If you are interested, i can supply you with one for $30... Email me if you are interested.

Re: QUarter Mile
That's not too bad. Good terminal speed, should be able to run a bit quicker going by that speed.
Where was that?
Well done!

Yeah, common fault. There is a solder in the back that is faulty, just needs re heating and a bit more solder to fix. Ive never actually bothered to do it, ive seen a step by step thing on some jap site that i cant find anymore! :-/

Re: WTB City Turbo
Hey Smithy, What would be happening would be that the wastegate is not opening either due to a problem with the actuator or a crack in the housing. This causes the turbo to overboost up to about 16psi at which time the computer calls it quits and cuts the fuel. Boost should be around 12-13psi and ...
