I 1st thought it was spark, but it's good, the injector is firing, but no Compression on # 4, I'm pulling the head tonight. I was wondering if anybody else has had issues like that.. On the 1st...

It started last year on our trip back from California, Twyla filled up her conv civic, (Turbo II swap) and it would run good in the lower gears (1-3) but if you tried to accelerate in 4th or 5th, the temp would climb, the boost would sit at 12psi, the rpms would increase slowly, but it seemed like t...

Well I finally got the wife's car all back together, she was breaking it in and then it happened.. bottom end knock :( Pulled it apart and she spun a main bearing :( The block is getting line honed, but it looks like it's in need of a new crank :( In the mean time I bought a city turbo II front cut,...

Re: piston rings
From what Honda NZ told me, there is 3 different pistons, the non-turbo and 2 turbo's they all have a 66mm bore, but the turbo uses a different size ring set.
non turbo 1.5/1.5/4.0mm and the turbo's 1.2/1.2/2.8mm
non turbo 1.5/1.5/4.0mm and the turbo's 1.2/1.2/2.8mm

Re: piston rings
Well, I finally talked to someone at Grant that know's what he is doing, he put together the right set of rings, and the motor is now going back together. He will inform Segdin of the wrong listing for the ring and have them create a new part # for the turbo rings :)

Re: piston rings
that's excellent :) It would probably be easier for me to directly order them from Florida (I live in Canada) I've found the site that makes them, but I can't find the part# on the site (the page is down ) do you have the part # ?
