Re: Highest boost pressure engine can safely handle?

i think around 16 psi the fuel cut, cuts in 23psi ive heard of, but it destroys the turbo (not the engine as its crazy low compression rate). if you upgrade with a fuel cut defender and a new turbo, you could prolly do 18-20, esp if you use a 2 stage and use 15 daily and click to 20 for special mome...

Re: Turbo cabriolet conversion?

they are approx 200kg heavier... plus, after you've had a convertible for a while, its pointless.

get over the idea, a roof is better. plus a proper t2 comes with suspension, seats, everything is different.

A quick search will tell you everyone uses the VL Fuel pump.

The wiring etc has been discussed, please search the forum for your answers, then ask questions.

It will cost you thousands to rebuild the engine, because your not only buying honda parts most likely importing from NZ, but have to pay for a rip-off artist to do all the work.

The city's are quite tall and roomy inside. I've had 6'2 people fit comfy in the front seat.

Leg room on the other hand you may struggle a little... Height you should be ok.
