Re: hey all :)
Hi mate, Yep, they came out with flat bonnet and the 1231cc Twin barrel Carby with 67hp. Alot of people have taken a damaged T2 and transplanted the engine, computer, fuel-tank, dash etc. AND the bonnet (because they're so cool!). I'd drive it first. How's the soft-top holding up? What's the body ro...

Re: How to get car to boost quicker
Funny how when we were all talking top vs front mount, (nearly) everyone said "you shouldn't see any significant lag between the two". Of course that's considering the standard turbo... but it's all Air Volume, and it does make a difference. Longer pipes (thicker too) and much larger IC = ...

Re: turbo noise
Yep, if you've got a free'd up air intake (pod) you'll be cable to hear the turbo alot more, mine whines "whhaaaooooo" around 5 pound, after that it just sounds like a vacuum cleaner.
It's pritty cool how raw the engine/turbo sounds on these cars with pod and good exhaust!

Re: Hi, Im new.
*Off topic* Joel, these's another importer is Sydney who sells the ER Turbo. I had a quote for $2300 for T2 front-cut. The name's lost at the mo, but it had "import" in it??? They used to have a website, but i can't find it :-/

Re: Hi, Im new.
I was afraid of this...was holding back till now. Boostboy put the bigger turbo (off the SAAB, garret) on the T1, then his engine blew for no reason. He swapped out the engine for an import engine (Joel you need one) and basically sold it straight away. Now, boostboy knew what he's doing...so why co...

http://www.cityturbo.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=FAQ;action=display;num=1073645531
I've sorted through and found photo's of the original honda accesseries for the Turbo I and II. I'll upload them too (just for ideas).

Re: mugen chip
I've found out how to interface a PC to the ECU on that PGMFI site. It's called Data Logging, where you monitor the engines vitals. We can solder 4 wires and attach a Serial RS-232 cable to the ECU, then record on laptop what's happening. The original topic of Mugen Chip would be referring to Igniti...

Re: T1 for sale
Don't sell it crooky! Ring New Jap and just plonk a 40,000km jap import engine in her ;D
Then we'll go for a cruize
Sell it after the engine change, then you'll get more than your $600 extra back.

Re: mugen chip
If there was a Mugen chip, Charles would've known of one. But i've also got a spare T2 Computer, and would love to experiment with a few things. Im a programmer, but no electrician, so got no idea where to start... Well, i want a serial output that gives me some figures on what's going on, surely th...
