Re: Fuel cut defender
Page 22 under 'FCD' has a quick example but I'm sure there is a better one around.

Hi, there are a couple post regarding the install, you will just have to go back quite a few pages in the 'General' forum to find it.

Re: I'm looking for connecting rod dimensions
Here are the dimensions from a T1 rod, I had been doing some engine work so remembered to do this just for you  http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d9/Launch_king/P1020301_zpskogzxtms.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d9/Launch_king/P1020303_zps93gzrchg.jpg

Re: T1 Misfire/Boost Cut Shennanigans
You'd be right about the timing side of things due to inconsistent running, it could be the fuel pump as i've had a couple of T1 pumps crap out, giving them a tap with a small hammer gets them going for a little while but it wouldn't over boost as it would struggle to make any boost before it starte...

Re: A few passing ideas (building a Turbo 2)
Turbo3 has done some work in this area. As far I know (as of 6 months ago) it isn't running yet. I will see if I can find pics over the weekend. http://www.cityturbo.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1849 Yeah what he explains is what I was getting at, that's an old post & he still hasn't fini...

Re: RB20DET turbo?
I got the slightly wrong turbo, I think the 3L one instead of the 2.8L variant, so the bolt holes were too far apart to drill out to make fit as it says on the thread. So I had to get an adapter plate made which pushed the turbo closer to the firewall and the actuator wouldnt fit and hit an engine ...

Re: A few passing ideas (building a Turbo 2)
Hi AVJOE & welcome. Good to see someone else is keen to take the City engine to a new extreme. Yes I also had the exact same idea with the turbo block & N/A head to make some half decent power, this had been in the pipe line for some years but didn't feel it was worth the time & effort f...

Re: wanted: honda city/jazz camshaft
Yeah man either T1 or T2 will fit but good luck finding a mint one that someone wants to sell you. If you do find a Turbo cam to use just be aware that the profiles are different to N/A cams & may make the car run rough or different, its likely the Turbo cam has more overlap & I know they ha...

Re: Twin Pot Calipers?
Thanks. Umm so I've heard & read there was a special 80's Prelude or Accord that came out with twin pot calipers, I thought there was one down at the wreckers here but no I lucked out there. As for 4 pot calipers well if Honda have used them they are likely to only be on the NSX or much newer ca...

Re: Injectors
Hey man, yeah I had some gen1 B16a injectors & some from a B20 Prelude which are the same. I stopped using them as they were noticeably more hungry on fuel & because the T2 injectors were up to the task but found that standard T1 & T2 injectors cant handle the high fuel pressures when ru...

Re: T1 Misfire/Boost Cut Shennanigans
Yeah I recently changed a O2 sensor on my mates T2 engine as the O2 sensor code was showing up but apart from a slightly rougher idle the car still ran fine & had no issues with over boost/creep. The only thing that made it annoying was the extra fuel it was eating but yeah still drove alright s...
