Re: Loss of power at high load - Carby 1983 non-turbo City
Funny this, i had a issue with one of my N/A's which done the same thing, i ended up pulling the carb apart to check & clean the jets, i couldn't find any problems so put it back together & put it back on the car to find it had the same issue so i changed the carb with a spare i had & th...

Re: Rodeo turbo upgrade issues
If you have a boost guage then keep an eye on that to see what it is doing, what PSI at what RPM & holding steady throughout rpm range while using full acceleration, sounds like a fuel or timing issue but i have been wrong before regarding a similar issue.

So you are just after a flange, not the flexi. Just use the gasket as a template, thats how i use to make my flanges.

Re: non turbo | inner cv joints the same for auto and manual?
I'm 100% sure they are the same on the inners but there are 2 types of outers, long spline/full lenght spline & 3/4 lenght spline, just check yours first.

Re: Dump pipe turbo flange.
Are you after the flexi that sits between the turbo & cat or just a four bolt flange (turbo side) or the three bolt flange (cat side). U can use a T1 flexi but three holes will need slotting to suit the wider stud spacing of the T2 turbo plus T1 flexi has a smaller diameter flexi than T2 so will...

Re: B Swap It
All motivation has gone unfortunately. The GA2 City is only 100kgs heavier than the AA city so by the time i put the B18C in the AA City its probably only likely to be around 50-60kgs lighter than the GA City so there's going to be bugger all performance differences between them so i might as well j...

Re: Injector resistor
The Injectors are all low Impedence type, around 2ohm from memory. 80's injected Hondas use that type, OBD-0 risistor packs from other hondas should plug in, EF3 Civic for example.

Re: bitterberry
Hey Bitters its good to see your enthusiasm came back. I thought you might have done head studs aye, i use to blow head gaskets all the time running between 18 & 20psi boost before i changed to ARP studs, it wouldn't blow it straight away but over time it would always blow through the gasket cyl...

I didn't realise thats was you who bought this stuff some time ago, thought you bought all this for 3k, i would have thought you'd use it rather than make money off it. I'm getting out of the turbo city engine stuff now so thats bad timing for me as i did want this stuff. All the best.

Drag Update With The NOS
I was also at the Honda Drag meet a couple weekends ago to finely try it with the nitrous but didn't even get close to my PB time. I was running a T1 turbo on the T2 manifolds which seems to hold its 11psi boost better with hardly any creep & a 30hp shot of nitrous but only ran a best of 14.8 at...
