hey city_cabrolet so do you think the blue cab had t2 shocks?
if so the custom ones should be cool on my cab

just got under the car the front sway bar is 17 mm thick, as far as i can tell with a 20 year old pair of vernier callipers
it may have allready been swapped with a t2 one when it had the motor put in?

thaught that might be the case  ;D cheers anyway mate.
any one else know? or know what city_cabrolet should be looking for

how can i check if the shocks are different to a t2 eg look for a serial number ???

now can anyone tell me weather or not the shocks differ between t2 and cabrolet?

ile put it down in part to the giant retred tyres ive got on at the moment, the outside diameter is huge ::)
and part to the shocks

i think i have to get lower profile tyres and leave the springs at their full length they scrape in the guards something nasty when hooking in to tight corners
i also bottom out over speed humps and shit
shocks are shagged

although you are helping to keep my and others cabrolet,s on the road and lookin sweet

what shockies did you replace with are they any good as ile need to replace mine some time in the near future
