Re: A few passing ideas (building a Turbo 2)
Turbo3 has done some work in this area. As far I know (as of 6 months ago) it isn't running yet. I will see if I can find pics over the weekend. http://www.cityturbo.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1849 Yeah what he explains is what I was getting at, that's an old post & he still hasn't fini...

Re: Replacing a T2 door
They should be the same except the t2 doors have a crease which allows them to be opened fully against front guards.
Shape, windows, etc are the same as far as I know.
Maybe you could dent temporary door in that area to make it open correctly, until yours is repaired.

Re: T1 Misfire/Boost Cut Shennanigans
Cheers for the tip! Spent yesterday checking out all the vac lines, all seem to go to the right spot, and I removed the T-pieces for the boost gauge and BOV to see if they were leaking (nope!) Also checked the ECU for codes, and low and behold it's throwing code 1 (O2 Sensor). Chucked a multimeter ...

Re: WTB T2 top mount intercooler
Looking for a top mount intercooler from a T2, with mounts and piping would be a bonus. Can anyone chime in if they know if a T2 intercooler would fit under T1 bonnet? Since T2 has wider raised bonnet I don't think it will fit under T1 bonnet, it's a pretty tight squeeze under a T2 bonnet as it is!...

Re: T1 Misfire/Boost Cut Shennanigans
Okay, so just bought a T1 from down on the south island to use as a company car for our new employee (seriously!). Looks like it's forum member "QikLude"'s old car? It's got a bigger turbo, which I believe is the Isuzu/Holden Rodeo based hybrid thingy and a 2.5" exhaust. When we firs...

Re: Anyone done a full disk up grade on a T2?
I had a dredge through some old information I had stored away. These came up. Please note I can't verify the accuracy of these comments. I also have a set of SiR 2 civic brakes that suit they have about a 10.4" rotor and 22mm thick. They work as a good upgrade and just squeeze under 14 inch rim...

Re: HONDA CITY CLUTCH?
Thanks for the Info guys - glad you didn't get into a cage-fight with the earlier replies there  Would be a one sided fight, I can just bring out the ban hammer :P Here's the following details I have on the T2 clutch kit I brought in 2004 FROM: D.A.S CarParts (https://plus.google.com/11604800...

Re: HONDA CITY CLUTCH?
Even if that clutch kit was the correct size its unlikely to fit a T2, the pressure plate looks more suited to a T1 than a T2. Clutch plates are the same between citys but pressure plates aren't, City-E's (blacktop) use the same flywheel/pressure plate setup as T2's but have different flywheel timi...

Re: Front lower bar
What do you think about front lower bar to the city? Is it a good idea? On vehicle test inspection I noticed that this part is not really stiff Many years ago 10+ the very same thing was recommended to me by someone who had done warrants of fitness on lots of cities. He had seen a number go through...

Unlikely, as far as I know T2's never came with the bikes, that was a T1 thing.
T2's with sunroofs do have anchorage points for when the sunroof is out. But they are light weight.

Not a chance. Considering the city morphed into the jazz, and the current 2014 city (sedan) is a brand new car. Yeah no.
Save your money.
