Rust?
I had a look at a really nice 84 Pro-T today. Outwardly, the car looked very nice. The interior was also really nice and didn't stink like is typical of a 25yo car. Drove well enough with an slight miss at idle. A/C worked but noisy. But on looking closer over the body, it had rust in the strut towe...

Re: right who wants a wide body racer kit??
Cool as the racer kit is, has anyone actually thought about the practicalities? How are you going to get that much offset without fouling or reducing steering lock? That much offset on a FWD will turn it into a pig on the road with bump steer, and even heavier steering. Finally, there's just about z...

T1 Project car (in Perth)
My City T1 project car is up for grabs because I don't have the time to finish it. Low K Japanese import engine/turbo fitted (run by me about 100k) from a T2 (no intercooler though Stripped back to metal/ primer/ some panel work done All parts are there plus original engine/turbo. Needs: Paint Brake...
Re: 4wd City
See, I knew it could be done
From what I can understand, it's got a T2 engine up front, and a 1.6l turbo at the rear, with an MR2 gearbox.
Now if only the car was a little better presented...
Awesome find Si!

Re: Help My City!
Could be as simple as a plug lead, at 80k the ariflow could possibly cause a lead to come loose. Your problem sounds quite generic, and the non-turbo Citys are basicly early Civics mechanically, so any mechanic should be able to sort you out. I've always had good service from 'Guaranteed' in North B...

Re: Help My City!
I don't see that being caused by the clutch at all. Does it slip on take off? Burning Clutch smell? Feel it grinding? The 'jerking' is probably something to do with the distributor or ignition coil. About $300 I guess. Does it happen at a certain RPM or only 80km/h, regardless of what gear it's in?
