Re: road worthys
Contact Vic Roads or check their website. In the end it's a judgment call by the inspector. I suggest giving the whole car a detail (underside too) so it looks well cared for.

Here's the one, 2.2million Yen, my mistake it's actually about $28k AU+ Shipping etc. http://www.microrccenter.com/forum/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=126683 As compared to building my own from a City, it's probably a better deal. If you try to sell a modified car you get nothing for it,...

Re: 4wd City
Just about everything in Japan has an AWD option. All the Micro car makers would be a good place to start, but there might be durabiltiy concerns with drivetrains originally intended for 660cc cars. Better options would be Suzuki Swift and Daihatsu Sirion, but might be harder to fit. Ideally, you ne...

Yup, the Thailand 'City' is actually a Civic. Plenty of stuff is out there for Civics, but you'll have to find another forum for the specifics

Re: Other motors for City
The Espace is a van, and it used an NA 3.5 V-10 from their 1994 Williams- Renault F-1 car.
Today's F1's are 3.0 litre with talk of 2.5l in the near future.

Re: New Honda City ....looks crap!!! lol
The City badge has been used by at least half a dozen cars after what we know as the City. Mostly Civics in SE Asia. If you want the hatch version of this, go buy a Jazz and add some Malasian 'City' badges. Besides, the original City is ugly too, that's what make it cool, a bit like a Mini or (Gasp!...

Re: What do you think on this conversion?
Chariot = Nimbus in Oz. Since it's front engine, awd, it poses the same problems as all the other conversions. The need for the reverse rotation unit comes about from putting the engine in back, but the reverse unit won't actually work with this type of gearbox anyway. No matter how I crunch it, I s...

Re: What do you think on this conversion?
Well, I found a quick change reverse rotation unit that would make the 4wd conversion at least possible. http://www.milnerconv.co.uk/Tbox.htm Using a CRV 4wd drive train would mean that it's RWD, and only 4wd when you start to get wheelspin, just like a GT-R. Finding/ making the space will still be ...
