The sills under the cabriolet are extra thick in comparison to other city's. When rust repairs were made on my old cab, they couldn't match the existing thickness, they suggested it was this stick to add structural integrity. One positive about the cabriolet is its much safer in a side-on crash. The...

Matty i had the same cracks just behind the front quarter glass on both doors. Its definately a flex point, both my doors rusted up badly around this weak spot, and thats just caining it with the 1231cc n/a engine! Seriously, the suspension etc on a T2 is light years ahead of the Cabriolet. Don't ge...

Another thing is; The T2 was made from 84-86 ish (pushing it), with the last of the T2's having an analog dash, not digital. The cab was made in 86-88 ish. Wouldn't the turbo cab's have these latest model analog dash's? Surely they would. But every turbo cab i've seen has an older, T2 digital dash. ...

Mate the wiring loom is used from the T2, but it needs to be spliced into the cab wiring for things like; - windscreen wipers, - rear break lights/blinkers etc. Boostboy always says they made a limited number of Turbo Cabriolet's. My personal opinion is this isn't the case. In my years and years of ...

White looks awesome with a wide bodykit.

Really makes the city's look fat! Although that yellow also looks good.

That wont be an issue, the cars worth a lot more then the repairs, and if they did write it off i would be buying it back and still getting the repairs done. If its through NRMA you don't get the option to buy it back, you have to go to the auctions and bid like everyone else, and that means somebo...

Whatever you do, DO NOT LET THE INSURANCE COMPANY HAVE YOUR CAR!!!

They will wright it off, in a heart beat!

Seriously, do anything BUT try not to involve insurance. They would rather sell the car and pay you out than fix it.

I can predict this will turn into nothing but drama's...

My mate has a old celica with the 2-litre 6 supercharged.

That engine comes either supercharged or twin turbo. Fantastic engines, his car's a weapon.

1. There is no ProT from 1989. 2. The odometer clocks over at 99,999. That car obviously has closer to 239,800. ps. If its been serviced regularly, it wouldn't matter that "in 44km's its due". Since 40k km's in a 25+yr old car means its been serviced what? less than 10 times? I love how ev...
