Re: purple t2
or a bored EK?
Re: Few Q's
You will need to run quite a lot of boost as 150Hp is about the limit of the stock turbo probly up around the 20psi mark or slightly higher youll need an extra injector or something like that to keep it from leaning out and as you say a boost cut defender, that setup should run fairly easy 14s and ...

Re: can someone help a newbie
Yeah probly for a stock city underbonnet a turbosmart type II is good as long as you can find somewhere to put it! You dont really want to put too big a BOV on a city cause it will be laggy and not respond as sharply as a smaller one, pretty much the smallest aftermarket BOV you can find will be wel...

Re: can someone help a newbie
SMITHY you misunderstood before he meant to hook your blow off valve up to a tee between the intercooler and the biggest hose going into the red pgm thingie, this attaches to the bottom of the bov, the big hole.the small hole on the top of the BOV can be attached to a TEE in the endmost tube of the ...

Re: Installing a Turbosmart Fuel cut defender
Why dont you just run wires from under the bonnet if you want to mount it in cabin. Just need a couple of metres of lightish gauge wire, true it would be neater to do it on the ecu end but harder. All you really need to do is cut the MAP sensor signal wire just behind the MAP sensor plug and attach ...

Re: To 'Turbo' a stock City - How hard?
fair enough, fair enough, I wonder why they redesigned things like the heater box for the turbo, does the non-turbo one hit the turbo or something? Normally I thought that they tried to keep as many things the same as possible..... Cheers for the answer Tony, well explained
