Re: purple t2
A stroked one would still only have around the bore/stroke of a city and it also depends on all that pin placement crap that bino was on about, it would pull like a frieght train no doubt ;D

Re: My new Civic turbo
Well as it has been discussed to much ado previously it is the common idea that with a boost cut defender you can force around 17psi into a little city b4 you start to lean out due to inadequate fueling if the fuel system is all in good nick and your running decent stuff ie 98RON or the like, gener...

Re: whos crashed a city?
BAHAHAHAHAH Colza just crashed his car today, we were going round a corner, he turned the wheel but the car kept going straight, well until the curb redirected us ;D His right, front wheel now sits about 50mm back from where its meant to be and his wheel is touching his mudguard, looks like mainly b...

Re: ENGINE CONVERSENIONS
I second that, that crossmember either required a custom bracket or a custom crossmember, believe me if it had even nearly bolted up we would have tried, maybe because ours was a hondamatic gearbox it had a different bottom engine mount or something??? Im not doubting you EN1 you sound very experien...

I just thought Id add the only injuries were, A) To my pride, B) A guy who helped me pull the car out cut his knee on the gravel and C) Hurt my knee when it hit and mangled the key at some stage during my flight ;D I should mention after we rolled the car out of the gorse we proceded to tow/drive it...

Re: leaking coolant help!
That exact place that you describe I know for a fact is corroded to buggery on Colzas car, and it doesnt leak. I just rammed the hose on there good and did up a good hoseclip really tight and it seems to be sweet, mind you its a lot easier to work on a city motor in a civic than in a city, you have ...

Re: ENGINE CONVERSENIONS
Colza and I have chucked a cityturbo II engine into colzas 80 civic hatch which is identical to an 82 hatch, its a bit of a hassle thou, youll need to make a custom crossmember thats a cross between a city one and a civic one youll also need to fabricate a custom rear torque mount and torque arm, th...

Re: leaking coolant help!
That sounds in the heater connection area def. You could try turning the heater to cold and leaving it like that for a while, if it keeps leaking its either before the heater valve or its not heater related. Ive seen a few of those heater hose connections where they connect to the rest of the water ...

Damn finally located an EK accord long motor and I find out that the port configuration is the wrong one!!! >:( I am trying to work out a way of scoring the head of something to fit this block. Re: Honda City 1988 (D12A engine)
Again just quoting Charles he seems to have all the info round here this topic was discussed on page three of the For Sale Board give it a look to get this in context a bit. Sounds like if a D13 bolts in then a whole s@#tload of wikked motors do! I thought these came with a D13? Is it EFI? Ahh the p...

WANTED City Turbo Rolling Body
I was wondering if anyone in the greater auckland area had a relatively rust free city turb (1 or 2) body that they were wanting to sell, interior and stuff not nescessary just a clean shell. I have just aquired a crash damaged city and would like to transplant the nicely working engine into somethi...

Re: porting / polishing
Charles said this ages ago I hope he doesnt mind me quoting him :) There is no probs porting. Works a treat specially round the short side radius and blending valve seats into port. Do not make the ports any bigger though as you lose too much charge velocity. You can relieve the area near the valv...

Re: T04 Boostin' Hard!!!
Quicklude, so you tihnk it is the throttle body causing the setup to surge? That is a very undersized throttle body. I just went for a ride in Colzas car and it has a very weird power hole around 0-4psi of boost. It pulls up to 0psi then hesitates like a b1atch until it hits around 4-5psi then pulls...
