Re: Injectors
Thanks for the advice Charles as always you are the god of the City Turbo ;D. So do you think that the city turbo manifold will support the airflow required for around 300Hp with a 50mm throttle body? I was considering using the Link Additional injector controller as someone I know said he had great...
Re: Injectors
Yeah i was thinking of making up an intake manifold that looked like yours, I.E. a lengths of tube job, but keeping the cvcc, like have little 10mm runners going to the cvcc ports, over the top of like 35-40mm runners for tha main ports and keeping the cvcc throttle body with a single 2" thrott...
Re: Injectors
I just did some rough calculations for Colzas and I's car, with the 1800 accord block in we will be looking at needing around 400cc woth of injection per cylinder to get a power figure of around 300Hp. I was thinking of possibly running the stock city ones for a nice accurate off boost mixture and t...
Re: Lowering
Hope this helps crsh, the guy in silverdale said about $150 each for the coil-over springs and about $100 for the threaded tube and adjustable platform but don't quote me on those prices :). he also said if the shocks were dismantleable it would be very nice to take them apart and weld the thread to...

Re: T1 too lean!
Um I can answer that for you, yes that cage is part of the head and sourcing a new one sounds like the wisest choice of action for you as it should fix all your problems just make sure you get cams and stuff with it. i was looking over her in NZ for one a while ago but i couldnt find one although st...

Re: THE NEXT STEP?
Nice Col, real constructive. Theres a lot of stuff that you can do too make your city go harder it all just depends on how much you want to spend as to what your options are. Knowing Boostboy, he has probly already covered everything that is going to be cheapish and you might be looking at modslike ...

Re: 1.8L City Turbo
Is the rev limiter a fairly integral part of the programming? I was thinking of keeping City turb efi system with a Link extra injector controller to squirt in a bit more fuel but if the rev limiter is hard to bypass then might have to go aftermarket. BTW any good flowing non cvcc heads that fit the...

Re: 1.8L City Turbo
Hey any ideas what the EP will rev to if the stroked version can rev to 6500 i'm guessing this can rev pretty well then with the much shorter stroke. Colza and I's project car is pretty much strictly for straight line duties so that motor should work very nicely especially with the recently fabricat...

Re: Big HAIRY Garrett T04
I answer to your statements, A; the engine is in a 1980 Civic so there is shitloads of room behind the engine, we can actually rest the turbo back there with the stock one still on there! Colza should be gettig up some pics soon to show you the beast. At first we are only gonna be boosting stock unt...

Re: Big HAIRY Garrett T04
Hell of course we are gonna give it a go ;D if it doesnt work well just bolt the old one back on itll only be $150 of fabrication down the drain, which im sure we can make back by selling the turb as we got a very good deal on it. If it is too big then we will probly buy a T28 of a Pulsar GTiR and ...
Re: 4wd City
This is a Civic we are trying to make 4wd here and they have a bit of a tranny tunnel in them stock, im not sure why, we just have to weld in a subframe at the back for the diff and relocate the fuel tank but there is enuf room for a driveshaft to go strait down the middle

Re: Big HAIRY Garrett T04
This is Mine and Colzas adventure the exhaust housing is a .32 A/R which is a hell of a lot smaller than a t3 housing I havnt really seen many turbos so i cant compare sizes but its a pretty tight housing. Well get some pics up soon prolly with a standard city turbo for comparison, it will be on wit...
Re: 4wd City
The Subaru Justy's a pretty small AWD and it was the first ever car to have a viscous coupling diff! (Standard on all evos)might be able to get something going with that system....

Re: Rising Rate Fuel Pressure
Thanks for the ideas guys. LordNafe if you have a read of similar topics you'll find that there is quite a bit of difficulty involved in installing an aftermarket ECU because of the CVCC injector. Qiklude, i've already got a h22a prelude fuel pump in there so it has the capacity for extra flow, i mi...
