So if I wanted wheels that cleared the same inside the wheel but another inch or so out...how does the off set change...

Im just about keeping up with all the generic fiddly bits ie, vacumn advance, water pump, thermostat, dead torque stay, dying cataly...

I go at a better price $75 from Thompsons in Cleveland (sth of Brisbane)... Got all excited about putin it on. Opened the front , loosened the alternator to slacken the belt.  Took off the belt from the water pump pulley. Removed one pulley bolt, then another, then succeeded in only rounding the nut...

battery relocation

Any one moved their Battery to the boot.   I was thinkin along the line I'd have to put a better air filter on than the Unifilter panel one I got to go inthe standard air box, with that het transfer I'd like to put the battery in the back and run a pipe to where the bat. was as that should be the co...

Re: What the fudge is this noise???

Yeah , im pretty convinced its the water pump. I've contected Adrian at Westmore Honda for a price of the Honda replacement, he also thinks its a generic Honda part, so should likely be in stock. Iwas gunna do it myself but i don't like the lok of those teenagers.  ...i mean the air con has some bit...

I might just buy a new one so i dont have to go through the instalation process again. question on the belts, is the timing belt going to have to be removed to get the waterpump/alternator/other wheel belt off.  Do you think I'll have to get a new ga...

Re: What the F#@*s this noise.???

Yeah, my dad said when i turn o th eAir con it should stop but hey, it doesn't. The last time I drove it, it was noisy , I'd say, 5% of the time.   then it would start again for no particular reason. So how hard is it to get to the water pump, is it the third wheel on the alternator belt pulley syst...

Vacumn advance/electrical fault for rev bounce

OK dokey IF any one remembers I've noted that my revs bounce sometimes at idle. Now, seeing as though the vacumn advance on the distributer had the hoses removed and blocked off, I figured it was r00ted, as when I put them on, no dif. NOw , I've gone out and bought a Brand new HONDA replacement, whi...
