http://i.imgur.com/m5dPe6V.jpg New shoes. Rays Volk CE28N in 15x6 et 35 with Bridgestone Potenza RE003 in 195/50. They only weigh 4.3kg each wheel! A fraction narrower than I would like but they were a good price. Perfect offset and size they can go lock to lock at that height without touching anyt...

Re: James' Civic Rebuild Thread + High Power ER Motor Theory
Fair enough, used turbos are pretty cheap to play with. In the Legacy, as far as I am aware, the twin turbos are sequential, so 2.0L powers one, then the other. You can buy small IHI and Garret BB turbos new (GT2554R) but they will be $1k+. Would be cool if you could use the VF20 core and attach a s...

Re: James' Civic Rebuild Thread + High Power ER Motor Theory
Sounds like a cool project man. What made you chose that turbo? I'd be surprised if it was very efficient at the higher boost levels the t2 motor needs to perform well. As well as having a turbine wheel sized for a 2L motor making decent power. Might be ok at around 1 bar especially if you machine t...

Re: [Question] About silicone joiners size
I'm just speculating but I think the larger connector should tighten down OK onto the turbo outlet. I think on my setup there is a short length of the stock outlet pipe going to a steel pipe fitting to make it to 2" for the rest of the piping.

There is that screw on the bottom of the squid that adjusts your idle mixture. Could be worth replacing your Oxy sensor too?

Re: City turbo and turbo 2 ecu ID?
T2 ECU have a sticker on them that says "37820-PD1-912" or 913 and the plugs are pretty much flush with the case. It also has 'denshigiken' embossed to the right hand side of the error code LED window. T1 ECUs the plugs protrude and it doesn't have apart number sticker on it, in the same p...
