Re: exhausts

Hey Crooky, I've got my T2 powered Cabriolet at my place, it's slightly modded. You really need to come round and have a look, and a listen! Ben's been round, now it's your turn! I haven't got a mobile anymore, so ring Ben and get my Home number and come round one day after work or this weekend. Cat...

Re: City turbo in Trading post

oh, you can tell if it's turbo...lift the bonnet and you see a big air filter that sits on the carby? :-[

Cabriolet's arn't turbo (but they look turbo from the body stylings), they arn't even fuel injected!!! But some have been modified. Like what i'm doing.

Re: City turbo in Trading post

Hi All, A Cabriolet is worth more than the City Turbo and Turbo II. Simply it's year date, being from 86 to 88 makes it worth more than an 82 or 84. Plus it's frigin Convertible! Basically you'd be buying a car that's like a VW Gulf Convertible, but smaller and $15,000 cheaper. The soft-top shouldn'...

Re: Too rich!

Hey Charles, I've got 3 City Cabriolet's now (even got Loren's) . You should buy one off me, drop a modified T2 in and use if to show off Racecraft Engineering ;-) Or sell it ;-) I do have 2 really good examples from the 3, and Loren's T2 powerd City will be revived as mine, leaving a great car that...

Re: CITY STICKERS AGAIN

Hi All,

Talking about gettin looks.

EVERY time i drive my Cabriolet, everyone looks and stares @ the car. I have adjusted now, but sometimes can be extreamly annoying!

To put it in perspectice, people look @ it like it's a Farrari!

Cheers,
Luke.

Re: Too rich!

Howdy Crook! Didn't recognise your handle straigh-up. Crook's car is a T1 by the way. Sensors and such are being swapped from a T2. Hey Charles, can you swap things like Map sensors between the T1 and T2? Have you seen this symptom before Charles? I've noticed it on a T2 i drove about 1 1/2 yrs ago....

Re: 1984 City Pro non-turbo carby question

Hi All, I've been running my Cabriolet with standard engine (carby) for 4 yrs. I give my car heaps, even been sideways round corners and have never experienced this "fuel starvation" you talk of. Maybe it's something else (not sure how the fuel is sucked from the tank etc). Cheers, Luke.

If anyone remembers, the City Turbo class raced in Japan have a City Turbo II sticker located on the front windscreen across the top (full length, you know, across where the anti-glare part of screen). http://www.cityturbo.com/membersrides/assorted/images/racingcity6.jpg I've always wanted a City Tu...
