F/S: Original City T2 rear passenger seat <PICS UP>

Postby rustyhornet » Tue Dec 18, 2007 11:21 am

I'm looking to sell off all the unneeded parts from my Project race car build.
Up for sale is an original clip in/removable style rear seat from my City T2.
It's trimmed in the standard velor blue & fluffy white, also has NO sign of sun fade or wear & tear.

I will host some pictures soon, otherwise seriously interested persons can request then to be emailed.

price can be negotiated depending on what you think the item is worth... :?

Who is building your roll cage?

I'll take one of those!

Lads... The cage was made by a cams approved roll cage fabricator here in Adelaide.
It was custom made for my city T2, as nobody has ever bothered to make a roll-cage for one of these car here...
Measurements where taken for the design to be made & supplied as a "kit" for lack of better words.
All the tubes are pre bent & ruffly cut to length. This cost $950 alone.

Now I've got the task of cutting & notching the tubes to fit correctly together, followed by welding the lot in myself. Then submitting the photos & papers work to CAMS for approval.

To have the complete job done including welding, it was quoted at around $2600-3k

So are you still interested now!? :o

I could supply one of these "KITS" to you interstate, but you would NOT get any change out of $1000 (including shipping)

Yep, I'm still interested.

Remember I have a T1. Do you know if the internal dimensions the same?

I'll send you an email to discuss details.

WOW - how much of a full cage are you talking. I had a half cage fabricated in my S14 Silvia, installed and Certed (requirment in NZ) for around $1000NZ... I would hazard a guess my cage would used about the same amount of materials (maybe a wee bit less) than a decent cage in a city.

It appears that roll cages are much cheaper over here. You can get a MANZ spec one for between 1-2k i think.
