Hi All,

I've got a spare City Cabriolet.

If anyone wants any parts (or the whole car) just give me a tingle.

(It's white, automatic, with 160,000kms [1yr old engine]. Body & interior is imaculate except for boot and where bumper was [has been crashed from behind] but still drives great ;-)

Hi all,

The car is not turbo.

It drives very good, and in great condition inside and out.

You can put a turbo 2 engine, g/box etc in. I'm planning to do that soon with mine.

I'll get some pics sorted out if you're really interested...
Price? well, haven't really thought about it.

I'd be happy with $2,700 for my good condition (automatic) 1986 Honda City Cabriolet unregisted (even has air conditioning). Or best offer!

If you want it with the turbo motor installed...i might be willing to do that...the price will be considerably higher thought (about 2,500 extra and that's an import with approx 40,000kms & 5-sp manual)

tell me what you think!

The beauty of buying a Cabriolet is that they're not turbo, so you don't have a twisted chassis & f*cked up C.V joints from all that power over the years, but you do have the same ish car (better? convertible!) to put the engine in! (so you can twist the chassis yourself!)

BUT

Be very careful, people say you can get stuff heaps cheap (old T1 & T2's etc) but as i always say "you get what you paid for"

If you get a T1, it'll be really cheap but you WILL have high possability of problems.

If you get a front-cut imported, it will be more expensive but will be in much better condition. READ: Lasts alot longer without spending money on it!

ste: yeah i've got another cover. not sure if i wanna part with it though... entise me.

Loren: still haven't done a thing with the cab. I bought a Yamaha TZR250 race replica (2-stroke ;-) then bought leather (head to toe) so little short on cash. But it does go faster than cars so i'm happy with the low cost commuter my cab is.

But still have a spare cabriolet for sale!

ah seals are pritty good on both cars, doesn't leak unless terential sideways rain (or parked on really weird angle:-)

I don't know if you are still driving your 1ST Gen, but I can tell you how to do the 100mm conversion if you haven't figured it out already. Quite an old post... :)
