Hi bigelboe,........Ahhhh yes now i can see were you are heading with this!

and it all makes a lot of sense!.....almost like free horse power and every one wants a piece of that!
And yes i can understand the money side of things aswell, and after all the city is all about cheap fun,and they do seem to offer a lot of bang for your buck!!

Mate if you can get the ECU sorted, and the engine producing some good figures i will buy one of you

And you may want to start a little side line business with them,a bit like an exchange system!.......you could even call it the "elbowbox" or the "big elbow conversion" (just some ideas you understand)

Example;
mugen,Greddy,blitz,trust.buddyclub,B1gelbow,Apexi,Gwest,5zigen,HKS.

Looks right at home to me! even sounds grunty!

Cheers all.

I was going to have another go at reading the chip today but I forgot, hopefully Ill get around to it tomorrow, be really good to get stuck into it, Ive had a few offers for help so hopefully we might be able tog et some results reasonably quickly.

Bigelboe........Just make sure you slide a number in there in place of a letter!
I think its ment to be trendy or something?

Cheers mate.

Hey guys, I have tried several times to read the chip I removed from my faulty T2 ECU, it appears it was faulty because the memory chip was damaged. Its working a bit, reading off some data but not all of it. So pretty much Im going to need another ECU to carry on this research. So if anyone would like to sell me a spare ECU then give me a PM or something. I only have the facilities to read the chips for about another month or two so I need one relatively soon if I want to get the info this year.

Dude if you can find that file I will perform sexual favours at your whim :P

But seriously that would be a hoooooooooge help. Im getting Colza to send me another ECU tomorrow should get it on monday so I should have a T1 base ROM reading sometime next week.

Charles said that the Mugen chip only richens the mixtures, nothign else. Hopefully I should be able to remove the cuts :D

nah you do that when you boost a non-boosted car, but its still pretty bogan.

Best way to remove fuel cut is with a Fuel Cut Defender. Find them for between $50 and $70. I can make them but im far too lazy and a bit busy so I never end up doing them. I havnt even tested the last one I made yet.

Its probably possible for the ECU to control the boost but as to whether Ill be able to write that code who knows.

I live in Palmerston North but Im flatting with colza in silverdale these summer holidays. Im coming up to auckland at the end of november.
