Electronic boost controller

Postby tom » Fri Sep 28, 2007 2:21 pm

ok, so i've done some searching and still cant seem to find the info i'm after. i've recently bought a hdi electronic boost controller and i want to know what lines i need to plumb up to be able to switch between stock boost and my preset level. from what i've read i need to put a T-section in the hose running from inlet of the turbo to the wastegate actuator? or can i just put a T-section in the pipe labeled '32' that comes off of the inlet to actuator hose? I'm a noob to all this stuff so if anyone could advise me to which hose connects to what and what return lines i need to run, it would be greatly appreciated. i added a picture of my controller below for ease of explanation.

ok, i've installed it and put the boost up to 15. when i took it for a drive and put my foot down, as soon as it got past 10-12 psi and continued to go up to 15 it felt as though it was holding back. like it wasn't getting enough fuel. could this be due to me not winding my fcd up enough (cause i hadn't adjusted it since i bought it off of 'civic'). or could it be an air leak (like me not getting tight enough vacuum hose) or does it just sound like i need a better fueling system.

I would definately adjust the FCD. Keep winding it up till it fuel cuts then wind it back a tad.
