Yeah even when driving in Smithy sport mode
I calculated I got 100Klm from 6.75L of optimax.
Thats pretty good I reckon...my dads Peugeot
diesal does slightly better...
Depend son condition of car too. I mean if the engine is screwed its not gunna be cheap by any means.
Ia new turbo is not gunna be cheap.
the suspension seems to be a topic of interest as to where its possible to get replacement parts etc...
Also depends on your driving, being a first car, you may likely drive like schumacher, and well and truely Ef the car...Id recommend it.,,,

Hey there,
Welcome along! :D
As long as you're a bit mechanical and know how to look after turbo - good oil, warm up first, let it wind down before switching off, give it some work to do etc,
you'll be surprised at it's power to weight to $$ ratios. ;)
Translation - if you treat it right it's an awsome car with potential to be even better!! ;D
Enjoy...
Pete

I echo what everyone has said, my T1 was my first car and i still have it after 6 years... Saying that, it will be up for sale soon if you are after a fairly heavily modified T1...
