Ive had the engine mount put in now.
Its much nicer to drive at idling around carpark etc; when you ease off acc. the engine doesnt jolt back and forth.   And though the hunting/boucey idle is STILL there it doesnt cause the steering wheel to jump about.
Evolution Racing put it in for me and fixed the air filter pipe to turbo rubber seal thing too.
fitting as well as turbo seal was 107dollars.
and 15bucks for the Sikaflex polyurathane stuff.
left it for a week to dry/seal, 25bucks for engine mount
with perfectly good rubber in it.....not bad.
UNFORTUNATELY...as I've got the standard air filter air box and topmount interheater when they went to fit
a BOV, you guessed it. . .
NO EFFING ROOM!...me no happy...
i ws really looking forward to a bov...
oh well, guess that can go towards saving for the clutch.
Is that eXXedy item that someone quoted the ref.# for better than a standard item with the fingers strengthened by say 40%... should I get the Exxedy one?!?!
hmmm, tim eto adjusted this solenoid thingy at the throttle body end...
