Yep, the green one has T2 shocks (but in poor condition) and had the lowered King Springs ;D

Rear wheels were nearly under the flairs without anyone
in it! and they didn't scrup with 13" tires.

Just roll the lip on the guards if it scrubs, but the green one didn't have the lips rolled (then again it only had 165 width tyres on the back, instead of 185 or 195 ;)

You'll be fine converting to T2 stuff (if it doesn't already have T2 shocks/springs)

i plan on getting rid of the nasty retred tyres and getting some proper lower profile ones before putting in the new shocks

Someone should get hold of this guy

http://www.honda-oz.org.au/kuruma/k7-5.htm

He seems pretty sorted when it comes to city suspension!!!!!!!!

For the lazy-clickers out there he has heavy duty Bilstein shocks in the front with uprated springs and threaded sleeves for height adjustment, and adjustable KONI shocks in the rear with uprated springs aswell!!

Hmmm, only vaguely related, but im just getting back onto that coilover project i started all those months ago :) see stuff does get finished eventually :P

Have purchased a coilover kit and am in the process of trying to sort out some shockies.

I am using Mk II (i think?) VW Golf openable struts. The bottoms will be machined down a mm or so thinner so they fit into the 1g, 2g civic and prob city knuckles. I will then be welding the brake hose fittings off my original struts back on in appropriate places, welding whatever fittings i need for the coilover kit (hasnt arrived yet, hope it fits :-/) and then chucking it all back together.

Im not sure how the upper strut mounts are gonna work out with the VW shocks, i have a feeling they are wider than 1g civic ones. Might end up using modded VW tops, ill have to sort that out when i get there ;)

Yeah, thats where my next few paychecks are getting spent ;D wish me luck...
