Just an idea as most of the cab owner would know the rear glass is a pain in the ASS. And eventually the rear glass will fall and hanging by the top two bit.

Well I am sick of trying to find people to fix the dam thing, I am doing it myself:

 Go to spot light and get a piece of clear plastic arround 130cm by 70cm (cost $ eight) and simply put on top of where the rear glass is. Cut the plastic to match the size of the window and make sure you cut it longer all the way into the zipper. Then either glue it in or using upholstery kit to attach it on. Then cut the orginal glass down (make sure you get the plastic in before cutting it down otherwise you cann't go back).

I've owned 3 Cabs over 5 yrs and have never experienced this.

You just need to replace the zippers and the glass will hold perfectly.

The idea of glass is actually a genius' solution to sun. After several months of sunlight, your plastic thingimy will turn white and will no longer be see-through...

the car was registed untill it got hit from behind.

I've got another boot for it off another car, but no rear bumper and one side is about 3/4 foot sunk in.

Except that, and the engine is gone, the car is complete (but fairly stripped at the moment).

Soft-top is good condition, all glass intact etc. I'm in newcastle, nsw. (i have family in brisbane).

Smithy: Ok... My car is in Brisbane, now have the NSW rego on it!!!  Until next month which it will be expire and now trying to fix up everything so that I can get road worthy and registered back in Brisbane before NSW rego expire.

OK, so it needs a clean, but that's about it! One rubber on driver-side isn't the best, you could swap and change etc.

Update:

 Here is the finish product cost no more than $20 and it works.

No exhaust gas back in the car,
No water leek,

And if the sun light make the plastic turn white is only eight dollars to replace it.

Glue will not work, use bolts with 2 oversize washer.

ellastyle: O well I am cheap that why I have so many money saving ideas. I rather spend a little more on the unique stuff than wasting bit by bit on simple repair. Thats why it paids to learn a few trick.
