Made up a rear mount by chopping the civic mount and adding a bit on the top then chopping the standard city mount and welding it back together shorter and off set,a little ghetto but it will work and can't be seen.

Every time I look at the front of the car I think to my self I wish I had cut holes for the brake cooling ducts in the front bar.so now that I have the chance...
Image
After
Image
The old radiator was never going to work so I set about fitting the nice alloy one I got with the engine.
First I cut off the standard lower brackets and moved them out wider and welded on small sections of tube to sit the new radiator mounting points into, sorry no pics not that exciting.
I wanted to push the new radiator as far forward as possible to allow for a slimline thermo fan ( the standard fan will never have enough room) so that ment the radiator cap would be covered by the top of the radiator support bracket thing.soo..before
Image
Cut out what I needed and welded in some steel tube to maintain strength and look nice.

Got ahold of another turbo manifold from rob that I bought the engine from thinking it might fit but it was still way too big.but luckily it was made of mild steel so I was able to use it to build one.

It's a little rough around the edges, needs a clean up and could definitely do with being machined flat again. but it will work just fine.

We measured one up was going to be just a little too big and had the waste gate in the middle of the radiator support.

So i went out to honbits at smithfield the other day, craig the owner is a great bloke and helped me out bigtime.
The goodies i picked up.
Brake booster and master from civic direct perfect fit, first one I looked at on a rack with about 100 on it.
Image
Also picked up a nice pair of 86 integra front knuckles.so now I have bigger discs substantially bigger calipers and I used the hub from the integra pressed into my city knuckle,so now I can use the larger outbound cv from the civic

Image
The disc isn't massively bigger but bigger none the less.

My mate bought a tig the other day....awesome.Image

New intercooler arrived the other day
Image
We made a restart on the intake manifold, ordered a pair of alloy doughnuts the other day,and got a hold of a couple of off cuts in 90mm and 45mm.at this stage it's a work in progress but we hope to get the runners close enough to the skunk one I hacked up to build it.

Looks like someone has been having fun with their new toys... I mean tools :P
If u could be bothered making another one of those custom intake manifolds, I think it would sell quick.
Nice handy work Matty

Manifold is looking mint bro. One little point, most plenums taper down a bit at the far end from the throttle body. This is because the end runner generally gets more air than the others if its just left a plain log, making that cylinder run a little bit leaner.

Hmmm hope it doesn't become dangerously lean.
