So Matt, you'll have to take it down to this

http://www.circuitclub.com.au/page/upcoming-events June Long Weekend Wakefield Park to see if it's fast on the track!

I still can't play, my car is out at waiting to have leaky gearbox fixed so I don't fill the tuners dyno full of oil :-(

Hey Matt,

Just wondering about your clutch setup. Did you go hydro all the way or cable to hydro? I'm still scratching my head... Awesome job again!

I used a hasport cable to hydraulic converter.got it from jdmyard in Smithfield.i think it was $150 seems to work fine so far.
Only modification was I tacked the nut and bolt that the lever pivots off because it kept coming undone.

I have been driving the car fairly regularly of late as I'm moving in a week and won't get to drive all my good local roads anymore.getting to know it fairly well and I'm beginning to tame the torque steer and wheelspin.
I want to take it out to Wednesday night drags at eastern creek next week but am finding it hard to G my mate up to A come along and B borrow his car trailer. We went out to watch last night and I recon it would whoop every fwd car there by a long shot!

Cool mate, cos I was re-evaluating my totally custom cable to hydro setup but it didn't seem right (read: really ghetto). Then looked at hydro all the way, but city's clutch pedals pull rather than push like the civics and all those new types do...

Cool man, I can only imagine what it's like to tame 200+wkw... I'd bet a lot of us city turbo folks would only imagine that mate!

Hope you can get up some vids for some of us that need the motivation... Did you manage to get it engineered?

Anyways, hope you get it to the track soon...

Dr
as much as I fancy my skills at custom fabrication I figured a hundred and fifty bucks was a good price to pay for not spending weeks of trial and error to get it right.
I looked into doing the pedal swap over and came to the same conclusion too much effort for a potential shit set up.
I haven't really looked too much into getting it engineered yet,I had a mate ask a guy he knows who basically said no way :(

Don't worry I will film.
Not sure on times, probably as you said above but traction may be a problem.

hey mate, was just looking through some older posts in your thread and was wondering if you still have the dump from the ER5? would you be willing to sell it? it seems to be the only thing holding me up from doing my exhaust as i drive the car daily. i have a guy at work who could whip me up one no sweat but it looks as if we'll have to pull the engine to do the dump. not keen on that.
