Haha you need to live in NZ & own a second N/A city & just use the plates off that one, the police have no idea over here but it helps that i live in a small town & don't go out street racing at night.
Re: my rebuild thread pics added more to come
It could be a while before I sort out the current problems the city has.
I need to dig out and replace the slab under the carport so I have a flat area to work, and do the driveway whilst I'm there.does not help that the builder I was working for decided to become a desperate bankrupt drug addict whilst still oweing me $6000
I have investigated the problem as best I can and I think it's clutch, diff or gearbox related.
I have ruled out cv because it clicks and clunks when run in gear on axle stands and does not stop clicking when either wheel is held stationary.i drained the box but only found a few tiny flecks of metal in the oil.

A CV would have been the better thing to break rather than the clutch or gearbox, when you get it sorted you might have to tame down that boost to keep reliability. Sorry to hear about the situation with you boss, i hope it all workes out in the end.

Yeah I was hoping for cv
The obx diff that it uses is around $500 au + delivery from the U.S.
In all honesty it was my own fault for thrashing the shit out of it.
100kmph to 180kmph launches will do that to anything

Haha yeah but thrashing it isn't the problem, the problem is it broke before taking it to the strip where it should have been getting thashed LOL. It would be fine breaking it while on the strip of track as you would expect that.
