mate , just read this post top to bottom and the car looks incredible!
that kit is amazing, and if you could be so kind as to share where you acquired it that would be much appreciated!

hope to see some more progress soon, keep up the solid work.

Peace,
Hayden

thanks for the words of encouragement mate.
the kit was made in japan for me at great expense and is no longer available anymore but gingernuts from this forum has made moulds for it and is willing to sell a copy or two i expect that the price would be around 2 grand if you are interested pm him.
haven't made mutch progress lately as i am still waiting for my mate to come round and do the other door however i did strip out all the sound deadening off the floor so the interior can be painted.

being in japan wouldnt have helped you get a bodykit, from what i understand the guy who had the molds over there was in his seventies and had to be nagged by kazaoka to even consider laying up a kit for me!
besides i was the poor bastard who went first gingernuts can make you one for like half of what i payed!

keep up the good work, this thing is looking tough.

In regards to your wheels, do you think that this is as big as you could go with that kit, both in size of the wheel (width and diameter) and offset?

yeah ime pretty sure that is as big as possible in every way,and i would have been a lot happier if i could have done it with 13 or 14 in wheels but nothing was available.
as it stands there is going to be very limited suspension travel in order to keep the car at a respectable ride height without looking like a 4x4.
i have been working on the car a little,i basically need to paint the car next but cant afford to being so close to christmas.

Coming along slowly.

What are you doing for suspension/adjusting ride height?
