99percent of bodywork is done just a little more work on the rear bumper,no pics at the moment but i have started to wet rub it all back to get the first coat of primer on the body tomorrow and i hope to prime all the bumpers doors and front guards etc later in the week.

alright i know its been a while but heres a bunch of pics of the painting progress.










so thats prettymutch what i have achieved so far,keep finding small holes that ive missed in all the fiberglass bits so ime going to have to fill all of them and then prime those bits again.the only large bits left to prime are the doors.

at the moment ime looking at just popping the standard t2 engine back in then ile deal with more power later on.

That sounds like a good plan man. I was almost convinced (by Colza) to change to a d16 for my car, but then I took his T2 for a drive and fell in love with the city motor again, what I love about it is that you can drive in a fun way, anywhere. Boosting up, spinning the wheels a bit or whatever is always fun, where with a high revving engine its really pretty limited in how much fun you can have on the roads, although its more suited tot he track than the low revving city motor.

The solution is two quick change motors running off two different ecu chips . Actually, that could be done.....

well it has been a long time since i posted here and believe it or not progress has been made albeit slow,the pinholes in the fibreglass are killing me i must have done the ones in the doors 5times each door and primed again and ime still finding a few here and there aaarrrrggghhhh!!!! ime hoping to get the doors sorted over the weekend and think about painting real soon but time is an issue at the moment as i am looking to find a house to purchase and working on my 4wd amongst other things ile update again when something actually happens.

i am sad to say that i no longer have the time to complete this project




so i am getting it professionally painted in the next few weeks
just got a rough quote from a mate for $1500 au so it will go to them asap and stop costing me money sitting in the basement,it will be out on the road costing me money

Awesome to see some progress, I havn't forgotten about your suspension! When I make the stuff for mine, I am going to do yours, craybaits, and Glens at the same time, Im moving houses (again) in about 5 weeks and my car will be driving by then, because I am not trailering/towing it for a 3rd time.

i drop it off next thursday,getting pretty excited!

Impressed with the look of the car,it helps me see someone winning with a city,as they seem to be a step forward then some new problem.
