having a hard time finding the little rubber strip that goes around the windscreen.surely there is some sort of generic windscreen seal that will do the trick.anyone replaced theirs?

hi i spoke to honda UK about that part and they told no chance, :? so i have been looking to replace with an alternative but no luck yet, i'm checking it out some more on monday so i hope so, it would be nice for us all to have a replacement     :) 8)

tomorow i will be sticking the windscreen back in without the strip.with the work i do in the building industry i have become a bit of an expert at creating a smooth bead of black sikaflex so i think i will just sika the join between glass and car and be done with it,i honestly never intend on driving this car in the wet enyway.

have you spoken to 3ccvc ?

I think that is his forums name, he scraps T1 / T2 city often and he might just be able to help you out otherwise I have a complete t2 for sale.

nah i dont want a second hand windscreen trim,i already have two of them and they are both fairly average so i would almost guarantee that every other one out there is in the same if not worse condition.
i went to clark rubber today to have a look at what they had and i think ive found a suitable alternative, they sell a round section of rubber like a vacuum hose but solid so once the screen is in ile see what size will fit in the gap around it and buy the length i need.

went back to clarke rubber and found a sales person who actually gave a f#@k and was willing to help and managed to come up with an almost perfect match for what i was after all i need now is to trim the lower fin of the T section down and it should work a treat  it turns out he was also the owner of the business so i let him know about his friendly and useful staff
