NEW T2 MANUAL IN TWO PARTS FROM HONDA FAIR PRICE?

I have been hassling Honda here in Australia to see if they could get me a Manual for a t2, They ended up giving me the fax number for Honda in Japan.
Just to see what would happen I send them a fax asking if they could supply me with a Manual, short story is they can send me a two part (Japanese) manual but want $500 for the pair
What do you guys reckon is that to much?
Im not sure if I can justify spending that much so if anyone else is interested in it instead let me know.
If It was in English that would be a different story!

ok fair enough but ide say $500 is a hell of a lot of money
you could probly have a printing company make up a book from the file for less than half of that.
cheers matt

$500? in japanese? i say way too much.
i think they are aiming to sell the manual to big company who fixes cars (ie Honda)
$500 for Honda may not be much because they earn lot more from it but for personal use? i dont know ay.. especially when its in a language that you dont understand fully... Eng version wld be different story tho..
actually i wld invest in one..
i wld go back to the seller and explain that its personal use only and take it from there? if they say no print one off here.. cheaper

I got a price for some manual transmission parts ay, nooooot cheap.
As for the manual I dunno, If I had a spare $500 I would be very tempted, be an awesome document to have. I have one for my civic.
