Will this short shifter fit a T1?

Hi Folks,
Can anybody confirm if these short shifters will fit a T1?

Just cut the end off... It was done in my T2 and it was awesome. With the cap off, you can tell someone just chopped it.

dont think any short shifter fits. all you need for a short throw shifter is to take out the shifter lever and extend the distance between the ball and where the shifter shaft connects to by about 15-20mm, or if you were only talking about a short shifter just cut it down.

With the shifter lower, it feels 10x better. I'd start there, then mod the link if you wanted shorter movements

yeah I just cut mine approx 10cm and it feels much quicker
