Postby craybait » Sat Feb 28, 2009 5:54 pm

Just found/purchased a turbo 2 cab in perth,so joining the bottom of the food chain.Having trouble locating an instruction manual the link via this forum is abit tedious for us digitally challenged .Anyone know a sympathetic mechanic to do an initial checkover.thanks

cab has a turbo engine ,digital speedo,78ooo klms.has had a recent blue mica respray over a aqua blue /green spray over I think black.Runs rough despite changing plugs dizzycap, so hopefully fuel issues .off to mechanic thurs. The cab roof has a gap above the rear glass, has the side zips and 2 straps over the glass but nothing to hold it uunder the rear section of roof?have not succeeded finding the answer fromm the Japanese manuals yet.Photos next week

plastic welding works on the root, i got a slash sealed up at a camping store.

Its a bit of a pain getting it on/off tho.

Good luck with your engine troubles.

BTW info on roof can be found here
http://www.geocities.co.jp/MotorCity/1956/e-roof1.htm
& if u can translate this page there use to be a video of the roof going on & off
http://www.honda.co.jp/MotionGallery/

but the gap at the back is a common problem with city cabs

that gap you describe is a side effect of the old roof make up a piece of black rubber held on by velcro i did and it worked well.
